Right now I should be studying for my Political Science test that is tomorrow at 8 AM, but instead I’m writing a blog post. Today I’ve been in the library for almost three hours studying for one test in a class that I consider myself pretty good at. Some may say that I’m being a baby, but I’m a freshman. So please allow me to struggle.
What makes me nervous is that I feel like I never learned how to study in high school. I was one of those people who just clicked with the material… Yeah, I read the book and reviewed my notes, but actual studying that’s a foreign thing to me. What constitutes as studying? Making notecards? Rewriting your notes? I do both but I still don’t feel like I’ve actually studied.
I’m determined to get an A in all my classes, so this test is really stressing me out. I don’t know what to expect. All I know is that my Political Science test is going to be 100 questions. That’s it.
Can some one help a sister out?
I don’t want to fail my test, but I don’t know how to study. I think that’s the problem. I’ve read lots of other blog post and watched some YouTube videos on what the best way to study is, but none of them have really resonated with me. Hopefully as the semester progresses, I’ll find my groove when it comes to all things academia.
Until then, I’ll just have to settle with looking over my notes and trying to memorize everything.
